I am so very bored right now with my studying, ugghh.  I am digging my nose into my anatomy and physiology study guide, trying to stay focused, lol.  So, in the middle of my boredom, here’s what I found in a magazine.  I saw a picture of a monkey dressed up in clothing!  Wow…I’m not sure what else to say about that.  I wonder how long it took to dress him up, ha!  Is he even comfortable in  the overalls he’s wearing?  Would he rather not wear anything at all?  I really need to get my studying over with and get to the beach!

Fearless

Have you noticed that you get more “afraid” of things as you get older?  It’s crazy, but true for some reason.  I remember when I was younger, I didn’t have any fear at all, I could pick up lizards without squirming, bait a hook when we’d go fishing, and skate at speeds that seemed like about 100 miles per hour!  Nowadays…I don’t think so….why is that?  Just a thought that went through my head today as I go over my life.  Maybe this is one of the mysteries I can learn when i’m in school.  Yes, at my age, i’m going back!  Why not?  I’m looking into some scholarships for women over 40.  Yep, that’s my age, and proud of it!  I’m hoping to overcome some of my fears and get back to my fearless self when I was younger!

Welcome to my yoga clothing closet. Some of these yoga outfits were purchased at local flea markets while others were passed down from my mother and aunt. I love the free flowing look of yoga clothing and when combined with 60s and 70s music, I have a great combination. Today I’m sorting through the clothes to determine what I’ll wear today since I’m headed to an outdoor book fair at the park and it will be close to 96 degrees.

I’m thinking about wearing my favorite blue and white Yoga maxi skirt with a white camisole, blue hoop earrings and two white bangles for the wrist along with my wooden flip flops. This is what I wore to my no essay scholarships meeting..lol

I’m really stumped because I also like this hot pink maxi dress with brown stripes in it. This dress is made of cotton so I’ll feel cool in it, and I have some wooden earrings that go well with it. Well, I think I’ll wear the blue skirt and white camisole today.

What I find interesting

Do you ever find it interesting that we are 99% the same as chimpanzees? 99% of our DNA is exactly the same as theirs. And yet when we stand next to them, all we can see are differences. Between humans there is even less of a differece. We are approximately 99.9% similar in everything. But look at the range of diferences that we go through. If we were being classified the way that we classify animals, based on visible characteristics, we could never call a person from Malaysia part of the same species as someone from Spain, or South Africa. But we are. 0.01% is not enough difference to constitute a different species. So why do we insist on fighting amongst ourselves like we are? Just because a persons race, religion, or creed is different than ours, we feel the need to segregate? We are more similar than we are different, and we need to remember that. In fact, I hope to be able to get scholarships for women over 40 so I can finally major in art like I have wanted to for many years

My Turtle and I.

Did you know that there is a eucalypt species called eucalyptus deglupta which have a coloured trunk? Looks like someone painted it with water-colour! Unluckily it can only be grown in tropical climates.

I’ve been interested in carnivorous plants too, but it’s really hard to grown one, but who wouldn’t like a plant that eats spiders? If my home had a bigger backyard i would make a garden full of unusual species.

Well, apart from the naturalist part, my day was pretty normal. I spent a lot of time with my family and i finished my work about symbolist poetry – i really like Rimbaud. I did spend some time with my cat Tom too.

Oh yes, i almost forgot, i broke another cup today, but this time it almost hit my turtle’s head. Maybe she could shrink her head just in time anyway. But i really should be more careful with these things, i broke 3 cups just this week!

Later, I am going to see if I can get consolidation loans for people with bad credit. I think my turtle has better credit me than me! LOL

I must go now, see you tomorrow.

Some of the youtubes I have been watching lately too!

I have been looking for work. This is a frustrating experience because I have some technological problems with the various websites I apply on. Every time I seem to be on the verge of getting a job it seems to disintegrate before my very eyes. This makes me depressed. Looking for work is one of my least favorite things to do. I have not had a regular job for awhile either so this makes looking for work frustrating. Fortunately, I do have some income coming in so, it is not as terrible as it could be, but I really need so much more. It bothers me that at my age I should probably be at the pinnacle of my career, and instead I am really nowhere. I think I may look for an online support group for job seekers maybe that will help me not feel so alone with this. Journaling is helpful as well. So , I decided to browse youtube..lol

Too Funny!

This is gonna be cool.

Nice.

This is OK.

BORING!!!!

I am an extremely clumsy person. Not a week goes by where I don’t have an accident! I remember one day after school when I was in my mid-teens. I was sat at the front of the bus with a friend, eating ‘Freaky Fingers’ (a very fun Halloween-themed take on Cadbury’s chocolatey snack) when I saw a rather shy friend of mine sat further back, all alone. The bus was very busy, but I decided to get up and take a walk to see him. However, just as I stood, the bus swung around a corner! CRASH!

I fell down with a big bump and found myself rolling around in the isle, the Freaky fingers rolling alongside me. All of the passengers saw and exploded with laughter, and to make everything worse, just as I was scrabbling to get up, the bus pulled up at the next stop, and my crush saw me, too! Ouch! I’ve never been so embarrassed in my life!

Here is a new video on what riders I think you should watch in the up and coming weeks.

There are quite a few talented people out in the ranks and I think that you should be able to find out which ones you like the best. Personally, my favorite rider is not here at this time. I am hoping that they will be available to ride in the near future.

Here are some of the latest releases on news this year too. We look at a few like this, but listed some of our favorites below.

Thought this would be a use article for those who are looking into online colleges. It is best to seek out those that are regionally accredited as opposed to those who are nationally accredited.

The Wall Street Journal also has a very interesting take on this too:

Life as we know it

Through my life we have had the chance to meet a lot of great people, when I was going to college. I found that most of the time, I liked to hang around what people may called, the odd balls, the ecentric, overly intelligent people and most of all theatre majors. I fell into all of these categories and as a matter of a fact, even tried to apply for some weird scholarships, LOL! I know, I know, don’t laugh. apples The above is how I see things. I know that right now, although stereotypes do not bother me, they seem to bother many others. When I was in school, we had very little bullying, and also very little if any bullying take place. I know in schools, I have found this report, which makes me a little sad.

Oh, by the way, I actually found a site that may help those who are reading and are thinking about going to college.
